Maelstrom

OK -- here is my entry to the 2 Button Challange.

This is my first game, so please be nice ;)

CONTROLS

A-A Turn Left || D-D Go Forward || A-D or D-A Turn Right || A+D Throw Spear (hold 0.5 sec)

Player 2 uses arrow keys.

   --- before you snark about the controls being slow; this was a deliberate choice.  Rowing a boat is hard. I didn't want them to be motorboats. I wanted the player to have to row :)

     ---- seemed perfectly aligned with the theme of the challenge :)

The theme of the game is 'MAELSTROM' -- "a powerful whirlpool in the sea or a river."

Features present outlined in challenge:

[X] Even the menus of your game can be used with only two buttons 

[X] Your game has good contrast and can be used by colorblind people.

      --- ok, at least I think so; i chose fruit because shapes are color independent

[X] There's almost no text in your game, to make it playable by people from all over the world!

    --- i struggled with this; the menus don't have text, but the win animation does. 

[X] It's possible to play your game online 

   --- i uploaded a web and windows version.  The graphics are reduced in the web version to prevent lag. 

[X] There's a MuLTIPLaYeR mode in your game!!!!!! Coop or versus... as long as it's two buttons per player.

   --- definitelly vs ;) each player has two buttons.

[X] The game has difficulty settings! 

   --- yupp; easy|medium|hard :) :| :(
